Weddings. Ahh.

My roommate is getting married soon, and I can’t help but plan my picturesque, fairytale wedding. But marriage is something you really shouldn’t plan for, because when love happens… you’re often blindsided by how fast it came.

Living in the present and not in the future is something I need to work on. I can’t help it - I love planning, dreaming, imagining. Come to think of it, many people struggle with seeing how precious the “now” is. Preoccupations with the past or future distracts us from today.

Just a thought for today.
