It’s Sunday, and all I want to do is just stay on this couch, but I’m not going to waste this beautiful day being lazy. What an uphill battle!
The BF is coming home from Hong Kong today, and I can’t wait for have a decent phone conversation again and the convenience of being in the same time zone — for the next 4 days at least! South Africa, here I come!

Every day, I realize - how much we are perfect for each other. You keep surprising me and I love it. We’re different, but for some reason, it just works.
Today, volunteered at Gilette Stadium for the Science of Sports Science fair and it was really cute, but exhausting. Sweet Wensley was asking me for his help the whole time.
Dinner in the North End - Italian tapas style. Delish! Made the mistake of commenting about underpaid, overworked Communcators and the engineers felt bad for me. Oh well, I will just have to find a way to make it up.
I feel like a loser today. Ah, tis life.

- me: Can you bring a pushcart this weekend to move stuff?
- you: Why don't you just pack the stuff in your car into your suitcase?
- me: That's so ghetto - packing a suitcase on the side of the road.
- you: You're right. Because a pushcart isn't ghetto enough.

Sleigh Bells - Ring Ring
![]()
Letting my inner-indie reemerge. Haven’t had time to really find new music, I’ve just been so busy! But in the spirit of the coming holidays, meet the Sleigh Bells. NY-based duo that reminds me of an hipster Christmas.
I can’t wait for East Coast holidays! I’ve been looking up some friends from home and I’ve really missed out on the NYC scene. But I wouldn’t trade what I have now for anything. I’m growing everyday and learning so much - trust me, good and bad. All worth it in the end, I’m sure of it!
Enjoy :)

Seattle!
The air just smelled clean, I can’t explain it. It rained almost everyday and the fog was as thick as they make it on the dance floor. While there aren’t a million historical landmarks, the city is clean and friendly.
Took a duck tour in the morning. I kind of want to visit all the duck tours across America - love them! We got to hit all the sites and saw some great public art. Apparently, when Starbucks hit some financial rocky roads last year or so, Seattle was one of the only places that didn’t see any problems! Chha-ching! AND Starbucks OWNS Seattle’s Best Coffee! Never would have guessed but that’s how America works. Can’t beat ‘em, buy ‘em.
Watched the MJ movie, This Is It. The theater had large, recliner seats with dinner and “ninja” waiters. That was by far, the most expensive movie theater I’ve ever been to.
Becky and I went to a employee communications conference and while it was interesting at times, I just wished there were some more tangible applications to what speakers presented. But let me tell you - the Microsoft campus was AWESOME. It was huge and their visitor center was really impressive. Their products are finally catching up to Apple, hah.
Had delicious sushi, maybe the best spicy tuna roll ever. It had garlic in it! :D So if you’re ever in Seattle, really try Wasabi Bistro downtown.

New York City next week! Ahh, the live of a traveler. :)
Anya Marina - Whatever You Like (T.I. Cover)
This song is so good. Haven’t blogged in forever, but I must say, life has been so good to me lately. Been traveling so much, went to Orlando to Disney World and met so many good people. Spent time with Tin, met his friends and family.
And Tucson? Tucson is amazing. It’s not the place, it’s the friends and memories you make where ever you are. Today, I picked up trash off the side of a road for our YESNet, went wig shopping, did everything. Still love it.
Seattle tomorrow!

All the girls at the camp are blogging, so I decided to come back and blog for a quick second! As they say, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do!”
Checking out telescopes and giant honeycomb mirrors.. We’ll see what’s next for MY adventure in Tucson ;)
